The Benefits of SiMPore's UltraSM Technology include:
- Defined tight pore distribution with an absolute cut-off eliminates leak through and reduces loss of precious material during filtration
- Maximum pore sizes available from less than 5 to 100 nanometers at increments of 2 nanometers providing better separation resolution than conventional membrane technology
- Membrane thickness as small as 7 nanometers improves efficiency and eliminates internal void spaces reducing loss of material
- The silicon substrate is easily surface modified and integrated into fluidics systems resulting in highly customizable separation solutions
