Nanomembrane Research Group at the University of Rochester
Job Summary: This is a unique post-doctoral position involving translational research projects at the interface of biomedical engineering
and membrane science. The position is based in an academic environment at the University of Rochester Nanomembrane Research Group,
but will involve research projects on cellular microenvironments
with practical and commercial utility. The ideal candidate will have a background in cellular biology with experience and/or knowledge in surface chemistry and engineering.
This position is ideal for someone who has not yet determined if they wish to remain on the academic track or transition to industry. It is possible for the second year
appointment to be primarily based at SiMPore with a focus on product development.This position is funded by an NIH project on cellular microenvironments.
